Sai Thejaswini Pamuru

Environmental Engineering

Sai works in the realm of nanoagriculture within Gilbertson research. Her focus is on the application of engineered nanomaterials to enhance crop growth, resilience, and nutrient water quality. She earned  her PhD under the guidance of Dr. Allen Davis and Dr. Ahmet Aydilek at the University of Maryland, where  her dissertation explored the responsible use of organic amendments in roadside projects. In her free time, Sai enjoys listening to good music, baking, and is also learning Indian classical dance form known as Kuchipudi.
