Patrick Dunn

Environmental Engineering

Patrick is a postdoctoral candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Patrick received his B.S. from Denison University and spent time as a research technician in a biomedical research lab at the University of Michigan before starting his PhD at the University of Pittsburgh. His doctoral research focused on the development of modeling tools to better understand the drivers of nutrient emissions from agriculture and to predict nitrate emissions to surface water. He also performed experiments to determine the efficacy of sustainable materials for the delivery of nutrients to crops through soil column studies. Outside the lab, Patrick loves running, hiking, and playing with his dog, Murphy.
