Environmental Engineering
Garrett is a MS student in Environmental Engineering, and his current research focuses on fluoropolymer weathering and degradation. His work investigates changes in the surface chemistry and the release of fluorinated species from these polymers during usage and end of life processes. Garrett simulates these processes and characterizes the resulting changes. Outside of the lab, Garrett enjoys birdwatching, cycling, and designing with LEGO.
